ABOUT ABOUT

DIY Yogurt: Healthy and Homemade

A Workshop for Outsiety

Ladies: People have been making yogurt for thousands of years, but today it’s often commercially produced, expensive, and loaded with preservatives and sugars. You’ll be surprised by how few ingredients and little effort it takes to make yogurt that’s more delicious than anything you can buy. You also be a step closer to making other dairy products, from sour cream to cheese. In this Twice as Tasty workshop taught by food blogger and private chef Julie Laing, you’ll learn how to make yogurt with tools you have at home. You’ll even get started on your first batch of yogurt. As a follow-up to the Super Smoothies workshop, we’ll discuss how to add your homemade yogurt to smoothies.

INCLUDES: All necessary tools and materials (except your thermos) for yogurt making and tasting
BRING: A tight-sealing thermos that holds about 1 pint and your favorite thing to eat with yogurt (enough to share)

We’ll be culturing yogurt in thermoses so that it’s easy for you to take home. To ensure your yogurt sets completely, bring a clean thermos with a vacuum-seal stopper, not a travel mug for hot beverages.

SIGN UP by Monday, February 25!
SPACE IS LIMITED to 12 ladies (we need a minimum of 8).
CLICK THE "TICKETS" TAB TO SIGN UP at the special Outsiety rate of $20. That’s $5 off the standard rate for this workshop! Choosing GOING on Facebook does not save your space.
