Super Smoothies: Starting Your Day Right
A Workshop for Outsiety
Ladies, smoothies can be quick, easy, healthy, and filling meals in a cup—if you keep the right ingredients on hand. In this Twice as Tasty workshop taught by food blogger and private chef Julie Laing, you’ll learn about ingredients that work well in smoothies and how to make the most of local fruits and vegetables in and out of season. You’ll also learn to plan ahead so that you can make a delicious smoothie in seconds. Julie will teach you some basic ratios, and we’ll play with a variety of ingredients so that you can create (and taste-test) your own combinations.
INCLUDES: All necessary tools and materials for smoothie making and tasting
BRING: Your favorite ingredient to put in a smoothie (up to 1 cup of ingredient or 1–2 pieces or fruit/veg)
If you have an upright or immersion blender, please bring it so that you can practice with the equipment you’ll be using at home.
